It’s heeeeeere.
SXSW is upon us and just like last year, I’ll be spending more time at unofficial events than I will at the actual conference. I’ll be all around downtown catching events with developers, designers and startups. I’ve highlighted some of those events which I’m most excited about. I hope you’ve RSVP’d for each of them!

5pm – 9pm | Join me at the 3rd Annual ATC Gateway Party to kick off Austin’s largest tech conference! This event showcases Austin’s executive clout, global appeal, and the collaborative and vibrancy of the Austin tech scene while showcasing Austin Technology Council member companies. |
6pm – 10pm | What happens when 50+ Austin startups all throw a party at the same time? The 2015 Pre-SXSW Startup Crawl, of course. |
Friday, March 13th

8pm – 12am | dProgram is Barcamp evolved. A day-long event focused on technology, human progress, and the future of digital culture… Emergent Order hosts the dProgram SXSW Launch Party. |
Saturday, March 14th
9am – 1:30pm | Austin TechBreakfast is kicking off an awesome week with the best Show and Tell in town. Come and participate and experience TechBreakfast. No powerpoint. No presentations that drone on. Just demos of the coolest tech happening throughout the world. |
9am – 6pm | dProgram is Barcamp evolved. A day-long event focused on technology, human progress, and the future of digital culture. |
12pm – 2:30pm | Learn how to Pitch Like a Unicorn at Startup Oasis. |
3pm – 5pm | Google is hosting a Happy Hour & tech talks at Startup Oasis |

6pm – 9pm | Calling Web developers of all stripes! Join us at the SXSW Web Developer Happy Hour for good conversation, appetizers, and a night out without the laptop. Buffalo Billiards has tons of games, such as darts, billiards, and shuffleboard. |
6pm – 8:30pm | IBM will give their Watson supercomputer free reign to come up with appetizers, desserts, and whiskey pairings at their New Way to Startup pitch event. |
